Hi, I’m Dr. Mary Barbera and I’ve been in the autism world for 2 decades, first as a confused parent, and then as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

The Verbal Behavior Bundle includes 6 months of access to the Early Learner Course (ELC), the Intermediate Learner Course (ILC) and 25+ bonus videos. The ELC contains 4 modules and should take approximately 12 hours to complete, while the ILC contains 8 modules and should take about 16 hours to complete. Each Module is split into 3 or more easy-to-watch video lessons. The optional homework (which is not turned in) can be done as you work with your child or clients.
This program is for parents of children of all ages who either don’t speak yet or speak in one word utterances or short phrases and are not conversational. Regardless of chronological age, the VB Bundle is for kids with language abilities of a 1-5 year old child.

Yes, the Facebook Group is very active and monitored on a very regular basis by our community manager and other professionals, including Dr. Barbera, who can discuss the course and answer your course questions. Due to ethical and legal requirements, however, we cannot offer specific programming advice for your particular child or client. But we will guide you as you learn from the materials and help you apply the concepts. Best of all if you get stuck, we will help you. In addition to the Facebook group, live Q&A Calls with Team Barbera are held twice per month and recorded for those who cannot attend live.

Yes! 32 Learning BACB CEUs can be earned for BCBAs/BCaBAs with the completion of all the videos, audio calls + ethics lessons, as well as a short evaluation of the course. A certificate of completion for 32 hours of continuing education will be given to all who finish the course. These hours can often be counted toward professional development requirements.
No, I am confident you will not find these courses too basic. The Early Learner Course was designed for both parents and professionals so it’s not highly technical, but it is highly practical for day-to-day implementation with your clients! The Intermediate Learner Course is more geared towards professionals (and parents with advanced training) who need to teach advanced language, academic and self-care skills.
